Running time is listed as 103 minutes. Mun-hee slowly starts to understand that this kind of relationship won't work forever, and wants to split up with Seo-hyun. Kim is arrested and has to spend a few days in prison for seduction of a minor, before she is set free and sentenced to do some hours of community service.
The story is about a male High School and his relationship with a female divorcée. She always looks incredibly cool and relaxed, and provides our two lovers with a love nest at her home, in which they can do what they want. I feel from even the raunchiest versions of this type of film or characters it portrays to the most solemn, context is important. It gives a new, and joyful, point of view to the whole thing. But he insists that he really loves her, and that he won't let her go. There is also Seo-hyun who suddenly takes of his trouser in front of the two womens' he has found shelter at.
I feel the 'fantasy' for fiction is fine as long as the context is well-defined; good or bad, it always seems to lay on context. She eventually engages into an affair with 19 years old Seo-hyun Shim Ji-ho , for whom Kim is his first love. She engages in an affair with 19-year-old Seo-hyun, who considers Kim to be his first love. Wrong, since this proves to be really big problem for them. So, if the main character of the 'boy' is supposed to be 12 or younger in this, this film is ridiculous on that alone but he obviously is more to the age of 15- 17 even though, as stated: he's 19 ; and most other things that require an age requirement in South Korea is 19 years old drinking, smoking etc.
However, according to Korean law, when it comes to sex, you are not of full age until 20. Yet, in the end, they manage to add a great acting achievement to the overall work. It starts out with the release of the woman convicted of having sex with a minor.
Those expecting kinkiness and power dynamics will be disappointed, as the relationship is a model of unusual egalitarianism, and the sex scenes only confirm this. Did anything change for him at all? The love story among a grow up woman and an under aged guy. A release was expected in late 2007. As an example: two 'adults' are fine given by the laws of one nation or state to the other as long as both parties are mature enough not only physically but mentally as well but that's a bit troubling for this film because the age of consent in South Korea where this film was made around 2005 when released is 13 years old their laws are based on the Western Calendar. His affirmation that he loves her can't take away her worries and fear that she could be alone again soon, and that her relationship wasn't anything more than simply an empty shell she took shelter in. It's especially welcome that the movie has a surprisingly light-hearted character and offers a lot of humor. However, according to law in Korea, when it comes to sex, you are not of full age until 20.
Nonetheless, where is this relationship actually heading to, and is this really love? The acting is commendable as Su Jung excels as the female divorcée. Mun-hee and Seo-hyun rent a room and stay there for some time, where they spend almost all of their time having sex. I would recommend this to anyone who wants another view at a May-December affair especially when maturity comes into place. My only complaint is that perhaps they could have showed us how they actually hit it off, but I guess that's already obvious and would only prolong the good pacing of the film. Pictures acquired the rights for the film in North America. Interlaced with explicit scenes of love making, the movie watches the two lovers trying to come to grips with their mutual attraction, sexuality and societal disapproval.
He and his girlfriend are seperated by 13 years, but as we all know this is of no importance when it comes to love. In fact, all of the sex scenes are pretty hot, yet also fit into the movie quite well. Nevertheless, to doubt the quality of the movie, simply because of some sex scenes, is really unjustified, as the movie shows that its true strengths lie within the fact that it is revolving around themes like love, growing up and a questionable Korean law, that officially forbids to have sex until the age of 20. . Also, a lot of hot sex scenes and a lot of tension-breaking humor. But the boy asseverates that he really loves her, and that he won't let go of her.
The two find shelter at the home of a friend of Mun-hee, Jane Oh Yun-hong. For Seo-hyun nothing changes at all in his life or his sensation that could justify why he isn't allowed to love a woman just because of a few weeks until his birthday. In the surrealistic ending of the movie, all the main characters are called to express their point of view on the uncommon relation of the couple. It was a 2005 Official Selection, a 2005 selection and was also shown as the opening movie at the Los Angeles Korean International Film Festival in the same year. After being released, the press and Seo-hyun wait for her outside of the prison. It has entertaining sex scenes.
The two find shelter at the home of a friend of Mun-hee, Jane Awards: 1 nomination. Mun-hee and Seo-hyun rent a room and stay there for some days, whereas they spend their time almost solely with sex. Kim slowly starts to understand that this relationship won't work forever, and wants to split up with Seo-hyun. She has to worry that Seo-hyun only cares about sex, and that he could simply dump her one day, when he doesn't need her anymore. If you separate that part from the film then it's an average erotica film about one person older having an affair with someone younger. A true and real romance, highly recommended. Of course, this has to lead to some sexual tension, but luckily only in the heads of the protagonists and not in reality, as this could have bestowed an unnecessary dramatic touch upon the movie.
